Most mileage apps were built for the IRS. You file with the CRA.

US apps count miles, fill out Schedule C and have never heard of CPP. MyGigLedger starts from Canadian rules.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is MyGigLedger on iPhone and Android?
The phone apps are in development. You can use the web app today on any phone or computer, and your plan will carry over when the apps launch.
Does MyGigLedger file my taxes?
No. It keeps your records and works out the numbers you'll need: your T2125 totals, CPP and an estimate of what you owe. You or your tax preparer enter them into NETFILE-certified software or a paper return.
Which provinces are supported?
Tax estimates currently cover Ontario, including the Ontario Health Premium. Mileage, expenses and exports work anywhere in Canada. More provinces are on the way.
Can I connect my Uber or DoorDash account?
Not yet. Most drivers add one payout per platform per week from the app's earnings screen, which takes a few seconds. Platform connections are on our roadmap.
Is the tax estimate accurate?
It uses the 2026 federal and Ontario tax brackets, basic personal amounts and CPP limits published by the CRA, and assumes gig work is your only income. It's a planning tool, not tax advice, so check it with a professional before you file.
Where is my data stored?
In the web app preview, everything you enter stays in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
